EXPERIMENT 2 FINAL SUBMISSION

EXPERIMENT 2: The Porosity of Subterranean Sydney

In creating town hall, I wanted to create the station the same known way that the public know it but into a different environment. Therefore i placed town hall in a frozen environment where the player would manoeuvre themselves through a known place but under different circumstances. I realised by making it frozen would give the player a 'creepy' and frightening experience. This type of experience would give knowledge whether a person finds the station "the same old station that they catch everyday" or gives them a different feeling.

When i think of installation, i think of a piece of artwork that causes some kind of attention from the public. Therefore i wanted to put weird looking aliens to continue the theme of the frozen creepy experience. By inserting these installation, i wanted to see how other people interact with it. Whether if they would stay and observe the artworks or run from it or even another response that I havn't thought of. I only placed several of these artworks on the concourse level, for the element of surprise as the player may only think they are navigating themselves through a frozen town hall which on its own is weird.

When testing how it people would react to this new environment, I made it them start from the platform level and make their way up to the exit. This will test whether they get a different feel from the town hall model. Also, it will test how people act to art pieces that are installed into the station.

weeksix CAMSTUDIO OF EACH WORKFLOW

I used camstudio for capturing videos of modelling in each workflow. But due to the computer crashing i was not able to save the camstudio files. On the other hand, i still prefer to use the full version of fraps because it a more known software for myself that i have been using throughout the year.
